I love reading. Almost every book has at least some positive points. But to be completely honest, I absolutely hate this one. It's like reading the 292 page diary of the badly portrayed predicaments of the worst writer in the world. Mark Twain rambles on and in no (apparent) way attempts to capture the attention of the reader or make the book even the least bit appealing to an audience. The dialogue is also one of the things that made the book nearly impossible to bear. In most cases, when authors use dialogue, it pulls the reader in and makes the situation seem more realistic. Mark Twain's use of dialogue? I was forced to read each paragraph for about 15 minutes to get even the slightest idea as to what was going on. It was over the top and exaggerated. Mark Twain, you should've tried your hand at a different job. Writing is, in my opinion, NOT your talent.
